Frequently Asked Questions:

Can nurse practitioners prescribe medications?

Yes, we do!  Our providers are able to prescribe both controlled and non-controlled medications to treat mental health conditions.

Do you offer therapy appointments?

We provide brief therapy as part of your medication management appointments.  At this time, we do not have a therapist on staff.  However, we have some amazing therapy contacts that we can refer you to!

What ages do you treat?

We treat adolescents and adults ages 10 and older.

What insurances do you take?

We are in network with most commercial insurances and some Medicare/Medicaid plans. Click here for a full list.

What are your out of pocket rates?

Initial psychiatric intake appointment - $250

Medication management follow up - $125-170

IV therapy - $200-235

How long do appointments typically take? How often are appointments?

Your intake appointment will take about one hour.  After that, appointments are typically every 2-4 weeks (based on need and availability) and last 20-40 minutes.

Can I use out of network benefits?

Absolutely! We can provide you with a superbill after each visit to submit to your insurance to use out-of-network benefits.

Are appointments in office or via telehealth?

We offer appointments both in office and via telehealth through Zoom.  We prefer to do the intake appointment in person when possible.  Follow ups may be in person or via telehealth.  An in person visit is required before we are able to prescribe a controlled substance per the Ryan Haight Act.

Please note: for telehealth appointments, it is extremely important that you are in a quiet, private location free from distractions.

What is your cancellation/no show policy?

Intake appointments are in very high demand currently and our schedule fills up quickly.  Out of respect for others who are waiting for appointments, we will not reschedule an intake appointment that was canceled late or that was missed as a result of a no show.
